Sonth Ke Laddu

In the winter season, taking dry ginger, jaggery and dry fruits keeps away the cold. The body is refreshed and full of energy and also increases immunity. Sonth ke Ladoo are healthy as well as delicious. So, I want to share a Sonth Ladoo recipe.


Ingredients
  • Dry ginger - 100 grams
  • Jaggery - 250 grams
  • Dry Coconut - 50 grams
  • Wheat flour - 100 grams
  • Desi Ghee - 250 grams
  • Almonds and Cashew - 50 grams
  • Gum - 100 grams
  • Pistachios - 10-12

Method of Making


  • Prepare the gum by breaking it into small pieces.
  • Cut almonds, cashews and pistachios thinly.
  • Put half the ghee in a pan and heat it lightly.
  • Then add glue to it and fry till it becomes golden.
  • Fry the gum on a low flame, it will cook well.
  • When the gum is cooked it will swell.
  • Take out the roasted gum in a separate plate.
  • Add flour to the remaining ghee and fry it on medium and low flame till it turns brown.
  • Take out the roasted flour in a separate plate.
  • Put 2 spoons of ghee in the pan and let it melt.
  • Put dry ginger in ghee and fry it on low flame.
  • Take out roasted dry ginger in a roasted flour plate.
  • When the roasted gum cools, grind it with a rolling pin in a plate.
  • Put finely broken jaggery in the pan.
  • Allow the jaggery to melt on low heat.
  • Turn off the gas when the jaggery melts.
  • Add the flour, dry ginger, gum, almonds, cashews, coconut and pistachios to the melted jaggery and mix everything well.
  • Now remove the pan from the gas.
  • Make laddus with a warm mixture.
  • Take a little mixture in your hand, and press it to make a round ladoo.
  • Leave the ladoos in open air for 2-3 hours.
  • Laddus will be dry.
  • Keep the ladoos in a container and keep eating for 2-3 months.
