How To Make Honey Chilli Potato
Cooking Time - 30 min Serving - 2-3
Ingredients
- Potato - 4–5
- Onion - 1Cup
- Capsicum - 1Cup
- Chopped Green Chillies - 2
- Corn Flour - 4tsp
- Rice Flour - 4tsp
- Soya Sauce - 1tsp
- Tomato Ketchup - 1tsp
- Ginger - 1tsp
- Black Pepper Powder - 1tsp
- Seasam Seeds - 1tsp
- Garlic Cloves - 1tsp
- Vinegar - 1tsp
- Honey - 1tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Oil for deep frying
Procedure
- Wash and peel potatoes.
- Cut the potato into equal size fringes.
- 1-2 inches in Height.
- Soak potato fringes in water for 2 minutes.
- Boil water in a pan with a pinch of salt.
- Add potato fringes and boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir Well. Do not over boil.
- Then bubbles come out the perfect stage of drain off.
- In a mixing bowl, combine boiled potato fringes, Cornflour, Rice Flour, pepper powder.
- Mix nicely to coat each potato slice with flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a Kadai. Deep fry the marinated potato pieces until golden brown.
- Don't over fry the potatoes. It can turn hard. Drain them in kitchen tissues.
- Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a stir fry pan.
- Add onion and stir fry for a minute.
- Add capsicum, Garlic, Ginger, Tomato Ketchup, Soya Sauce, Vinegar, Salt, and stir fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Mix cornflour with 1/4 cup of water and make a liquid paste. Add this paste to the sauce and stir to combine.
- Once the sauce starts thickening, add the fried potato fringes and honey.
- Garnish with the white sesame seeds, chopped green chilies, spring onion, red chili flakes.
- Serve it.
- Mix well.
