Rajasthani Sitafal Kheer


Rajasthani Sitafal Kheer or Custard apple kheer is a heavenly fruity kheer. The sweetness of the organic product makes the kheer flavourful. This kheer doesn't require a lot of sugar as it contains the characteristic sweetness of organic products. Custard apple kheer is extremely simple to make and requires just a few ingredients.


Ingredients


  • Milk - 1 liter
  • Ripe Custard Apples - 500 grams
  • Condensed Milk - 250 gram
  • Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Green Cardamom Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Dryfruits - for garnishing

Method of Making


  • Wash and  peel the custard apple, separating the seeds and pulp. 
  • Carefully remove the seeds, lightly mash the custard apple pulp with a fork. Keep aside.
  • Set the milk to boil in a thick bottomed pan.
  • Add the green cardamom powder and let the milk simmer lazily over a low flame till it has reduced to almost half in volume.
  • Stir in the mashed custard apple pulp, continue to cook over a low flame for 5-7 odd minutes.
  • The pulp will bring the milk to a thick consistency.
  • Sitafal Kheer is ready you can serve Warm but its taste will increase once it will chilled.
  • Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours in freeze & Serve.
  • Garnish with Chopped Pista & Badam.
