Marwadi Shahi Panner
Shahi
Paneer is a North Indian food dish. Be it a wedding party or a celebration, it
has been an important dish. Shahi Paneer is a very famous and very delicious
recipe.
Ingredients
- Paneer - 500 Gram
- Onion - 3
- Green Chilli - 4
- Ginger Paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander Powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Turmeric Powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Cloves - 3-4
- Black Peppercorn - 5-6
- Black Cardamom - 1
- Green Cardamom - 1
- Cinnamon - 1
- Cashews - 20 Gram
- Almonds - 20 Gram
Method of Making
- Chop the onion, green chillies, tomatoes along with ginger and coriander leaves separately.
- Now, grind cashews and almonds separately using a little water and make cashew and almond paste. Keep them aside until required.
- Heat oil and ghee in a pan.
- Add cloves, black peppercorn, black cardamom, green cardamom and cinnamon.
- Add onion and fry till they turn pinkish.
- Add ginger and garlic and fry till onion turns golden brown.
- Finally add tomato puree and cook for a minute.
- Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and a cup of water and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add paneer and a 2 cup of milk and cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
- Adjust water according to your preference Add fresh cream and cook for a minute.
- Remove the Shahi Paneer in a Serving bowl.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and fresh cream.
- Serve hot with roti or naan and enjoy!
