Marwadi Shahi Panner

Shahi Paneer is a North Indian food dish. Be it a wedding party or a celebration, it has been an important dish. Shahi Paneer is a very famous and very delicious recipe.





Ingredients


  • Paneer - 500 Gram
  • Onion - 3
  • Green Chilli - 4
  • Ginger Paste - 1 Tablespoon
  • Garlic Paste -  1 Tablespoon
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tablespoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tablespoon
  • Cloves - 3-4
  • Black Peppercorn - 5-6
  • Black Cardamom - 1
  • Green Cardamom - 1
  • Cinnamon - 1
  • Cashews - 20 Gram
  • Almonds - 20 Gram

Method of Making


  • Chop the onion, green chillies, tomatoes along with ginger and coriander leaves separately. 
  • Now, grind cashews and almonds separately using a little water and make cashew and almond paste. Keep them aside until required.
  • Heat oil and ghee in a pan.
  • Add cloves, black peppercorn, black cardamom, green cardamom and cinnamon.
  • Add onion and fry till they turn pinkish.
  • Add ginger and garlic and fry till onion turns golden brown.
  • Finally add tomato puree and cook for a minute.
  • Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and a cup of water and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add paneer and a 2 cup of milk and cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
  • Adjust water according to your preference Add fresh cream and cook for a minute.
  • Remove the Shahi Paneer in a Serving bowl.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and fresh cream. 
  • Serve hot with roti or naan and enjoy!
