Banana is indian spicy breakfast recipe mostly prominent in kerala, banana
pakoda is quiet rare most of the people have no ideas how to make this inspite
of this most of the potatoes, cabbage, brinjal, and many other vegetables are
very common recipe. We tell you today, how to make banana fritters.
Ingredients
Raw
Bananas or kacche kele
Salt
as per taste
Gram
Flour or besan
Ajwain
Mangraila
Red/Green
Chilli - as per taste
Oil -
for deep frying
Method of Making
1. Wash
the raw bananas well with clean water and then transfer them to a vessel filled
with water.
2. Cover
this vessel with its lid and place it on the gas stove over medium flame to
cook the raw bananas
in the water.
3. After
some time remove the lid from the vessel and poke a knife into the raw bananas
to see if they are cooked and have become
soft or not. If they still appear raw then cook in the same manner for some more time. Then
turn off the flame.
4. Take
out the soft and cooked bananas from the hot water to a big plate and allow
them to cool.
5. Then
remove their peel and mash all of them to form a fine paste-like texture.
6. Now
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
7. Divide
the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into round koftas.
8. Heat
the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the pakoda till golden brown.
9. Drain
on absorbent paper.
10 .Serve
hot with tomato sauce, chili sauce as per taste preference.
