Chana Dal Pakoda
Chana Dal Ke Pakore is also easy to make and taste very good when
served hot with some spicy chutney. They are my favorite snack during the rainy
season.

A bowl of - Soaked Gram Lentils
Salt -1 Teaspoon
Onion - 1 Chopped
Green chili - 1 Chopped
Coriander Leaves - Chopped
Cumin - 1 Teaspoon
Oil - To fry
Method of Making
1. Finely grind gram soaked lentils.
2. Then add all the ingredients and whisk it.
3. Then leave the mixture to rest for 5 minutes.
4. Heat a kadhai and pour some mustard oil in it. When the oil is heated
completely then lower the flame.
5. After 1 -2 minutes make a small dumpling of the Gram mixture and
press it to form a flat Tikki like shape.
6. Now transfer the dumpling slowly into the hot oil.
7. Prepare 4-5 dumplings and set them to fry at a time in one batch.
8. When one side appears light crispy red in color then flip them
slowly to fry on the other side.
9. Fry the dumplings till they turn crispy red uniformly on both
sides.
10. Garnish the fried pakoras on a plate and garnish with grated
radish, finely chopped onions, boiled potatoes, tomatoes, green chilies,
roasted cumin, and coriander leaves.
11. Serve the hot crispy and spicy Chana Dal Ki Pakori with green
corinader chutney, sweet imli chutney or sauce as per your choice preferences.
