Tomato Quinoa Mix



If you’re fan of tomato rice, this is the perfect breakfast/dinner option for you when trying to eat healthy.



Ingredients

  • Oil 
  • 2-3 cloves
  • Finely Chopped red chillies
  • Finely Chopped green chilies
  • Finely Chopped onions
  • a pinch of cinnamon powder
  • One spoon sambhar masala
  • One spoon black pepper
  • 2 Tabelspoon quinoa



Procedure 


  • Heat the oil in the pan, add jeera and let it splutter,
  • Add 1-2 cloves, a pinch of cinnamon powder, garlic,chopped red chillies as per your taste,
  • Onion and sauté on medium flame until the onions caramelize properly
  • Add the tomatoes followed by sambhar masala and salt and black pepper and Kashmiri Laal mirch
  • Let it cook on simmer until the tomatoes become tender
  • Add 3-4 spoons of water if needed to make sure tomatoes cook well..
  • Cook them for good 10-12 minutes until they break down completely-
  • Add quinoa and keep stirring until the flavours infuse
  • Cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes-
  • Serve hot. .
