Tomato Quinoa Mix
If you’re fan of tomato rice, this is the perfect breakfast/dinner option for you when trying to eat healthy.
Ingredients
- Oil
- 2-3 cloves
- Finely Chopped red chillies
- Finely Chopped green chilies
- Finely Chopped onions
- a pinch of cinnamon powder
- One spoon sambhar masala
- One spoon black pepper
- 2 Tabelspoon quinoa
Procedure
- Heat the oil in the pan, add jeera and let it splutter,
- Add 1-2 cloves, a pinch of cinnamon powder, garlic,chopped red chillies as per your taste,
- Onion and sauté on medium flame until the onions caramelize properly
- Add the tomatoes followed by sambhar masala and salt and black pepper and Kashmiri Laal mirch
- Let it cook on simmer until the tomatoes become tender
- Add 3-4 spoons of water if needed to make sure tomatoes cook well..
- Cook them for good 10-12 minutes until they break down completely-
- Add quinoa and keep stirring until the flavours infuse
- Cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes-
- Serve hot. .
