Shakarkand Cutlet ( Sweet Potato Cutlet )

Sweet potato cutlet formula is very simple to get ready and doesn't require a lot of exertion and time. It contains cell reinforcements, calming supplements, and glucose managing supplements that are advantageous for wellbeing all around.



Ingredients


  • Boiled and mashed sweet potato -3-4
  • Maida – 1 Spoon
  • Chopped Green Chilli – 2
  • Chopped Onions – 1
  • Lemon Juice - 1 Spoon
  • Roasted Cumin - 1/2 Spoon
  • Oil – for shallow fry
  • Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 Spoon
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Spoon
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 Spoon
  • Coriander Leaves

Method of Making


  • Firstly boil the Sweet Potato (Shakarkand).
  • Take a bowl to add boiled, peeled and mashed sweet potato.
  • Make sure the mashed potato does not contain water.
  • Add onions, coriander leaves, and chopped green chili. 
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, maida and garam masala powder.   
  • Mix well all the ingredients to form a dough.
  • Take a lemon sized sweet potato dough.
  • Grease your hands and shape them into cutlets.
  • Make sure that there are no cracks 
  • Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough.
  • Heat oil in a shallow pan, Add oil for each batch of a cutlet. 
  • Always fry the cutlets in low to medium heat. 
  • Sweet potato cutlet is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney and a cup of hot tea.
