Shakarkand Cutlet ( Sweet Potato Cutlet )
Sweet potato cutlet formula is very simple to get ready and doesn't require a lot of exertion and time. It contains cell reinforcements, calming supplements, and glucose managing supplements that are advantageous for wellbeing all around.
Ingredients
- Boiled and mashed sweet potato -3-4
- Maida – 1 Spoon
- Chopped Green Chilli – 2
- Chopped Onions – 1
- Lemon Juice - 1 Spoon
- Roasted Cumin - 1/2 Spoon
- Oil – for shallow fry
- Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 Spoon
- Chaat Masala - 1/2 Spoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Spoon
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 Spoon
- Coriander Leaves
Method of Making
- Firstly boil the Sweet Potato (Shakarkand).
- Take a bowl to add boiled, peeled and mashed sweet potato.
- Make sure the mashed potato does not contain water.
- Add onions, coriander leaves, and chopped green chili.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, maida and garam masala powder.
- Mix well all the ingredients to form a dough.
- Take a lemon sized sweet potato dough.
- Grease your hands and shape them into cutlets.
- Make sure that there are no cracks
- Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough.
- Heat oil in a shallow pan, Add oil for each batch of a cutlet.
- Always fry the cutlets in low to medium heat.
- Sweet potato cutlet is ready to serve.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney and a cup of hot tea.
