Chatpati Potato Chaat


The easiest chaat recipe that we can make is potato chaat. Aloo Chaat is served by putting crunchy potato pieces  with spicy and sour-sweet chutney,  some  spice  powder and the pomegranate or sev on top.


Ingredients

  • Boil Potato - 3
  • Salt - 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Mango Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Roasted Cumin Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice - 1 Tablespoon
  • Green Chili Paste - 1 Tablespoon
  • Coriander Mint Chutney - 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Sev - 1 Cup
  • Chopped Green Chilli - 2
  • Finely Chopped Coriander
  • Sprouted Grains
  • Oil

Method of Making

  • Boil the potatoes and chop them.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan.
  • Fry the potato pieces till they turn golden.
  • After frying, Soak oil and put the potatoes in a bowl.
  • Add the sprouted grains, salt, green chillies, red chilli powder, mango powder and roasted cumin powder.
  • Then add chaat masala and mix again.
  • Invert by adding lemon juice.
  • Mix tamarind chutney, coriander mint sauce well.
  • Place the aloo chaat in a serving bowl.
  • While serving you can garnish with some pomegranate arils.
  • You can also garnish with sev.
  • Serve aloo chaat as an evening snack or a starter snack
