Palak Moong Balls
Moong Chatpate balls this is my favorite recipe. Potato is the king of all recipes according to me its all-time favorite for kids but when we think about nutrients value its very less. Mostly doctor prescribes not to eat so much potato. so that's why i added some nutrients value by added sprouted moong or cabbage. Seriously its taste is beyond words. Must-Try this recipe you loved it.
Ingredients
1.Sprouted Moong - 1 cup
2.Boiled Potato - 2
3.Cabbage - 200 gms
4 Capsicum - 1oo gms
5.Spinach - 200 grams
6.Cumin seeds powder - 1/4 spoon
7. Red chili powder - 3/4 spoon
8.Garam masala- 1/4 spoon
9.Vinegar or 6-7 sticks of green coriander
10 Soya sauce - 1/2 Spoon
11 oregano 1/2 spoon
12 salt as per taste
13 oil - for frying
Procedure -
1. Put a steel container with 6 cups of water on a burner and covered with a sieve plate.
2. Place sprouted moong and small cut cabbage on the sieve plate and covered it with another plate
3. cook both the ingredients with steam (for 5 min)
4. finely chopped capsicum and spinach(wash it properly before chopping) and put them aside.
5. Peel of the Boiled potatoes and mashed with the help of fog,
6. Mix sprouted moong, cabbage, finely chopped capsicum and coriander, mashed potatoes with the help of the spatula.
7. now add all the spices (chili powder, coriander powder, Soya sauce, oregano, Garam masala, Cumin seeds Powder, Vinegar and salt)
8. Make small balls of stuffing and put it in a refrigerator for 15 mins
9. After that take a pan and add 4 spatulae of oil and heat it properly
10. Now take out all the balls from the fridge and now deep fry in a pan till it color turns golden brown.
11. Insert a toothpick in each ball so it is easy to pick up.
12. Take a decorative plate and serve your chatpate ball with chutney.
